E | L Interiors is a full-service residential and boutique design firm, helping clients create spaces that are inviting, and personable. With our years of experience, we can help bring back joy to the design and building process, rather than the stressful experience that most encounter when tackling projects on their own.
Our Story
E | L Interiors officially started in 2021, but its roots have been grounded long before then. Erika Lopez (owner & Principal Designer) has always had a special eye for creating warm, beautiful, and inviting spaces. These skills and unmatched passion date back to her childhood, learning from her Grandmother and mom who continue to be inspiration in her career.
Erika graduated from The University of Alabama where she received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree majoring in Interior Design. As part of the School of Textiles, Clothing, and Interior Design, she studied abroad in Rome, and many other influential cities throughout Europe. She still reflects on these experiences in many of her projects today.
After college, Erika landed her first position as an Associate Designer at a high-end Design firm in Winter Park, whose clientele included various celebrities, athletes, and artists. One of the largest projects Erika worked on, included a 30,000 sqFt. Luxury Estate.
Following a sudden move to Seattle, with her now Husband (Joe), she decided to become a free-lance designer. She has used experience in the Pacific Northwest to bring new inspiration and style to her own portfolio.
Erika now resides in Tampa, with her new son Liam, Husband Joe, and Stella, the team mascot.
